The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON has reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a smooth and spiritually fulfilling 2025 Hajj for Nigerian pilgrims.
The Commission’s Deputy Coordinator In Makkah Alidu Shutti representing the NAHCON Chairman welcomed a delegation from the Nigerian Embassy in Riyadh, led by Minister Counsellor Muhammad Sulaiman.
The visit focused on reviewing Hajj preparations and strengthening collaboration between NAHCON and the Embassy.
Mr. Shutti gave updates on recent activities, stating that over 40,000 Nigerian pilgrims have already been successfully transported to Makkah following their stay in Madinah.
The Embassy team also included Minister Counsellor Abdulazeez Ibrahim Hong and Administrative Attachés Abubakar Aliyu and Lawal M. Baba.
NAHCON officials present at the meeting included the Deputy Director of Makkah Accommodation, Bilkisu Awah and Assistant Director Jummai Zainab.
This high level diplomatic engagement highlights the strong partnership between NAHCON and the Nigerian Embassy as preparations continue for the 2025 Hajj.
