Quranic Recitation Competition Concludes in Kano,30 Winners Recieved Awards

The maiden edition of the Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji Tinubu Quranic Recitation Competition has concluded in Kano, with thirty winners emerging in various categories.

The winners were awarded assorted prizes, including cash, houses, deep freezers, tricycles, Umrah seats, and scholarships.

The Grand Winner of the male category, Ahmad Shua’aibu from Shanono Local Government Area, and the Grand Winner of the female category, Maryam Abubakar Mu’az from Dala Local Government Area, each received a four-bedroom flat, scholarship from Qatar Charity Foundation up to university level, N1 million, and Islamic books.

The organizer of the competition, Senator Basheer Lado, expressed gratitude to Allah for the success of the event.

He noted that the competition aimed to promote the recitation and memorization of the Holy Qur’an among young Muslims.

Lado emphasized the importance of the Qur’an in the lives of Muslims and urged parents to support their children in their pursuit of Islamic knowledge.

Lado warned that the prizes awarded to the winners were not just rewards but also responsibilities.

He urged parents to ensure that the prizes were used wisely and for the benefit of the children.

He also emphasized the importance of using the prizes for uplifting the lives of the young Qur’an bearers.

The Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji Tinubu Quranic Recitation Competition has set a precedent for promoting Islamic knowledge and values among young Muslims in Kano State.

The event has not only encouraged the recitation and memorization of the Qur’an but also provided opportunities for young Muslims to showcase their talents and abilities.
