Bauchi State Special Schools Management Board SSMB says 90 percent of students graduated from its schools in the last six years get all entry requirements into Tertiary Institution.
Chairman of the Board Alhaji Babangida Barau made this known during 2025 speech and prize giving day of Government Girls College Special School Kafin Madaki, in Ganjuwa Local Government Area.
Alhaji Babangida Barau represented by Permanent Member two, of the Board Alhaji Umar Said Abubakar explained that, the success was recorded as a result of policy direction, financial and moral support received from the state government.
He assured that the Board would continue to adopt strict measures aimed at improving the standard of education in all its schools.
The Chairman of Board appealed to parents to bear with the board’s policies as more strict rules would be adopted during entry extermination to maintain the standard.
“If we relax on our principals this students will not get what they want. One of our students last year participated in the Nigeria Indonesia bilateral debate competition and emerge the best speaker in the world this is worthy of celebration” He said.
In her speech, the Principal of the College, Hajiya Jamila Muhammad Koko said the school is graduating 114 students who excel in different field this year.
Hajiya Jamila Koko said the event is a celebration of hard work, dedication and achievement of students with exceptional performance.
She said the graduates were well trained on how to face bigger challenges ahead and compete favourably with their counterparts across the country.
The Principal of the College appealed to parents to continue to do their best in complimenting the efforts of teachers towards moulding the character and behaviors of the students.
In a presentation titled, A Girl Child, You Are Not Mean To Be Silent, founder of a Non Governmental Organization, She Matter, Hajiya Jamila Lagi Suleman admonished the graduates not to allow any challenges deter them from achieving their success.
Hajiya Jamila Suleman enjoined them to remain of good morals and engage in entrepreneurship to support their families.
In a remark the Chairman Parents Teachers Association of the College, Alhaji Muhammad Madaki Commended the management and staff of the school for maintaining the standard of education in the school.
Speaking on behalf of the graduating students the Head Girl of the School Hajara Haruna, commended their parents and teachers for investing to ensure they become better citizens.
Highlights of the event was the presentation of Prizes to the best performing Students and Cultural Dance from Kun Dala Kun, Hausawa, Sayawa and Fulani.
Government Girls College Special School Kafin Madaki is one of the special schools established by Bauchi State Government.
