Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state has approved the appointment of eight new Permanent Secretaries to fill in vacancies within the state civil service.
In a statement signed and made available to Radio Nigeria the state Head of Service,Alhaji Muhammad K. Dagaceri said the newly appointed permanent secretaries, who were previously Directors are Garba D. Muhammad, Baffa Abubakar, Fatima Aliyu Hadejia and Umar Isah.
Others also include Bello Datti, Ibrahim Hassan, Nasiru Haruna and Mahmud Isah Ringim.
Alhaji Dagaceri emphasized that these appointments were made based on merit, competence, and personal integrity.
He added that, all the appointments are effective immediately.
