The Federal Government has assured Nigerians particularly, communities in Hong local government area of Adamawa state that the issue of insecurity will soon be a thing of the past.
The Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Humanitarian and Poverty Reduction,Mrs Delu James Yakubu gave the indication while presenting relief materials to communities attacked by bandits recently in the area at the Palace of the Paramount Ruler of Hoba Chiefdom, Barrister Alheri Bulus Nyako.
The benefitting communities that received succour are;Banga,Yau,Kinging,Dabna and Garaha Mojili.
Delu James Yakubu while assuring locals of their safety said President Tinubu through the office of the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has been investing hugely to overhaul the security architecture of the nation, calling on the people of Hong to co-operate with security agencies by providing them with useful information and suspicious characters in the area.
While emphasizing that the issue of insecurity will soon be a thing of the past,the SSA to the President on Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction urged the beneficiaries to use the items for the purpose intended so as to sustain their livelihood.
The Paramount Ruler of Hoba Chiefdom, Barrister Alheri Bulus Nyako while thanking President Tinubu for appointing one of the daughters of the Chiefdom described Mrs Delu James Yakubu as a true Ambassador of Hoba.
The Royal Father called on sons and daughters of the Chiefdom occupying various positions in the country to emulate the SSA by considering the plight of the locals as the communities have been experiencing security threats particularly during this wet season.
