PTDF Screens 400 Applicants for 2025 Overseas Training in Bauchi.

About 400 applicants seeking overseas training for the 2025 academic year are currently undergoing screening in Bauchi. The candidates, drawn from the Northeast region, are vying for opportunities to pursue Master’s or Doctorate degrees in geosciences, management, and environmental-related courses worldwide.

The Executive Secretary of the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF), Ahmad Galadima, disclosed this at the commencement of the exercise.

Represented by , the agency’s Manager of Research and Innovation, Munir Abubakar stated that only candidates with a minimum of a Second Class Upper (2.1) degree and five O’Level credits would be considered.

He added that membership in relevant professional associations would serve as an added advantage.

One of the participants, Bello Abubakar from Gombe, described the process as seamless, noting that the entire exercise—from form filling to screening—was conducted electronically.
