President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has arrived in Kano for a condolence visit to the family of the late Alhaji Aminu Dantata, a renowned business mogul and philanthropist.
The President was warmly received at the Aminu Kano International Airport by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibril, and other dignitaries.
The President’s arrival was met with great enthusiasm and respect, as he was welcomed by top government officials, traditional leaders, and other prominent personalities.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf and Senator Barau Jibril were among the dignitaries who received the President at the airport.
President Tinubu proceeded to the residence of the late Alhaji Aminu Dantata at Koki Quarters within the metropolis, where he condoled with his immediate family and loved ones.
The President described the late business mogul as an icon worthy of emulation, whose philanthropy was a mark of excellence.
President Tinubu prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Alhaji Aminu Dantata, saying: “May Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus.”
The President’s visit is a demonstration of his respect for the late business mogul and his commitment to paying condolences to the family and the people of Kano State.
