Gov. Buni Signs Hisbah, YITDA bills into Law.

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has signed two bills establishing the Hisbah Commission, and the Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency (YITDA) into law.
The Hisbah Commission law is to monitor the enforcement and implementation of Shariah and prevent other social vices in the state.
Similarly, the Yobe State Information Technology Development Agency law is to coordinate and collaborate with institutions in mentoring and training youths in the field of information technology in the state.
The two laws enacted by the Yobe state House of Assembly and signed by Governor Buni come into effect today, 6th October 2023.
