NOA Urges Nigerians to Shun Hate Speech, Embrace Technological Innovation

The Yobe State Acting Director of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Alh. Muhammad Tikau has urged Nigerians to reject hate speech and leverage technological innovation to foster peace and sustainable national development.

Tikau made the call during his lecture on the topic “National Core Values in Our Society as Enshrined in the 1999 Constitution (as amended)” at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Dazigau, Nangere Local Government Area.

Represented by NOA’s Public Relations Officer in Yobe Mr. Sabiu Maikwano, Alh.Tikau emphasised the importance of national unity, patriotism, the dignity of labour, and religious tolerance in fostering a peaceful and harmonious society.

He encouraged corps members deployed to the state to serve as ambassadors of peace and utilise technology as a tool for positive transformation and national growth.

Tikau warned against hate speech and other social vices, noting that they threaten peace and hinder development.

He further called for collective efforts to address these issues, assuring that the agency would continue to engage youth to promote peace, innovation, and responsible citizenship.
