As part of the ongoing efforts to transform the state, Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has inspected the ongoing construction of the Damaturu Modern Motor Park, a key project aimed at transforming Damaturu the state capital.
The motor park project is part of the state government’s efforts to give Damaturu a befitting facelift, 34 years after the creation of Yobe State.
During the inspection, Governor Buni expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and assured that the project will be completed within a specific period.
He explained that the project is expected to provide a conducive and organised environment for commuters and transport operators, enhancing the overall transportation system in the state capital.
Buni pointed out that the project is the latest in a series of infrastructure development initiatives embarked upon by his administration, aimed at driving economic growth and improving the quality of life for residents.
The Governor added that his administration’s commitment to transforming Yobe State has been evident in various sectors, including education, healthcare, and agriculture, with notable projects and initiatives implemented across the state.
