The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), North East Zone, has congratulated Comrade Dahiru Garba Muhammad on his appointment as the new Acting Zonal Director of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), North East Zone.
The congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed by the Zonal Secretary of the Union, Comrade Abubakar Musa Waziri, and issued to journalists in Yola on Thursday.
The union described the elevation of the former General Manager of FRCN Fombina FM, Yola, as well-deserved and a testament to his proven leadership and dedication in the media ecosystem.
The statement highlighted Comrade Muhammad’s decades of experience as a media executive, from his time at Globe FM in Bauchi to his successful tenure at Fombina FM in Yola.
It urged him to “keep the flag flying” in his new capacity, expressing confidence in his ability to lead effectively.
“As you assume this new role, we are confident that your vast knowledge and experience will be instrumental in guiding and raising the seven stations within the zone to greater heights of achievement and service,” the statement read.
“The Union wishes you every success and looks forward to fostering a continued and fruitful collaboration.”
