The Six Brigade Nigerian Army, in partnership with other security agencies in Taraba state, is set to conduct its second bi-annual combined route march on Friday, August 29, 2025, in Jalingo.
The exercise, designed to enhance operational readiness, physical fitness, resilience, morale, and overall preparedness of troops, will cover a 15-kilometer route within Jalingo metropolis.
A statement by the Brigade’s Public Relations Officer, Lieutenant Umar Muhammad disclosed that the route march is part of the Nigerian Army’s Forecast of Events and Training Directive for the year, aimed at maintaining peak operational readiness.
The statement advised residents of Jalingo to remain calm and continue their normal activities, as the exercise is a standard training activity designed to promote military preparedness.
