NEDC Stresses Ownership as Key to Sustaining Project Gains.

State Coordinator of the North-East Development Commission NEDC, Khalifa Lawan, says taking ownership of interventions will go a long way in sustaining the gains of any project for lasting development.

He made the assertion while leading members of the commission on an inspection visit to the Management of Radio Nigeria Fombina FM in Yola, Adamawa State.

While commending the engineers who carried out the off-grid solar system installation at the station, Lawan urged other community members to reach out to the commission in order to benefit from its interventions.

Emphasizing the need to take ownership of interventions to sustain their gains for rapid development, the NEDC State Coordinator expressed delight over the smooth operations of Radio Nigeria Fombina FM Yola on the off-grid solar system.

He added that the commission’s efforts are aimed at promoting sustainable growth and development in the region to improve the lives of residents and foster economic prosperity.

The Management of Radio Nigeria Fombina FM Yola appreciated the North-East Development Commission NEDC for its intervention in the provision of an alternative power source.
