NOA Partners NSCDC to Promote Peaceful Coexistence in Yobe

The National Orientation Agency (NOA) in Yobe State has partnered with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to address insecurity and promote peaceful coexistence in the state.

The partnership was announced during a courtesy visit by the Acting State Director of NOA, Alhaji Muhammed Tikau, to the State Commandant of NSCDC, Abubakar Zaria, in Damaturu.

Tikau commended the NSCDC for its efforts in addressing crimes and conflicts, particularly clashes between herders and farmers.

He assured NOA’s continued support for initiatives promoting understanding and unity.

In response, Abubakar Zaria appreciated NOA’s recognition of NSCDC’s contributions to security and social order.

He pledged the command’s support for NOA’s mobilisation campaigns promoting government programs and national values.

Zaria further explained that the partnership is expected to enhance the collective impact of both agencies in promoting peaceful coexistence and addressing insecurity in Yobe State.

The visit also featured an exchange of NOA publications, and NSCDC presented Tikau with an Award of Excellence for his leadership and dedication to national development.
