Staff of Jewel FM Gombe have successfully concluded a capacity-building training on content management, aimed at enhancing their skills in digital media handling and content delivery.
The training, held at the station’s premises, was facilitated by the Head of ICT, Radio Nigeria North East Zone, Yazid Abubakar.
Yazid Abubakar emphasized the importance of adopting modern content strategies and digital tools to remain competitive and effectively engage audiences across platforms. He stated that in today’s media environment, content is key, and broadcasters must be able to manage, adapt, and distribute content across both traditional and digital platforms to meet audience expectations.
Speaking during the closing session, the General Manager of Jewel FM Gombe, Malam Zubairu Ahmad Kumu, appreciated the facilitator and praised the initiative, noting that the training aligns with the station’s vision for media excellence and innovation. He encouraged the staff to apply the knowledge gained to improve programming and online engagement.
