The staff of Radio Nigeria Peace FM Maiduguri have been charged to produce news and programs with meaningful content and high quality.

The new Zonal Director, North-East Zone, further urged the station to continue to amplify news and programs that will mitigate crises and promote peace, in line with the Radio Nigeria editorial policy. He urged the staff of the station to always be alive to their responsibilities of keeping the public informed about happenings around them.
He assured that he would prioritize capacity-building training for staff, especially in the areas of convergence journalism and ICT. This would enable the station to continue to maintain the lead in the highly competitive media environment.
The Zonal Director commended the Director-General of the corporation, Dr. Mohammed Bulama, for addressing the power challenges facing the seven stations under the zone for years by facilitating the installation of solar lighting systems, which enable all the stations to ensure an uninterrupted power supply.
He enjoined all the stations to improve revenue generation, block all areas of revenue leakage, and look inward for other sources of funding that would enable them to solve some minor challenges that affect the smooth running of the stations.
Earlier, the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Peace FM Maiduguri, Abba Mohammad Dikko, lauded the efforts of the Management of the corporation for the installation of solar lighting systems and assured that the station would continue to maintain its position as the leading radio station in the state by keeping the public abreast of any development in and around them, as staff are putting forth their best efforts and working against all odds.
He commended the new Zonal Director for the steps so far taken toward repositioning the stations and assured the Zonal Director of the support and loyalty of the staff.
