TRCN Inducts 270 Graduates from ATBU Bauchi into Teaching Profession

The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, TRCN, has inducted over 270 graduating students from the Faculty of Technology Education of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, ATBU, Bauchi, into the teaching profession.

The colourful second induction ceremony was attended by graduands in their academic gowns, expressing joy and appreciation for successfully completing their studies and beginning their professional teaching careers.

Vice Chancellor of ATBU, Professor Ibrahim Hassan Garba, represented by the University Librarian, Dr Dauda Adamu Bako, described the induction as a well-deserved recognition of the students’ resilience and commitment to learning.

He charged the inductees to exhibit good conduct, uphold professional standards, and serve as worthy ambassadors of the university wherever they find themselves across the country.

Administering the oath of allegiance, TRCN Registrar, Mrs Ronke Soyombo, represented by Plateau State Coordinator, Malam Kabiru Ibrahim, urged the new teachers to maintain integrity, humility, and ethical discipline in their duties.

Chairman of the occasion, Professor Mansur Malumfashi, reminded the inductees that teaching remains the most noble and gratifying profession, urging them to shun materialism and remain focused on nation building.

Dean, Faculty of Technology Education, ATBU, Professor Babawuro Shu’aibu, encouraged the new teachers to be innovative, exemplary leaders, and mentors to the next generation of learners across Nigeria.

Speaking on behalf of the inductees, Aliyu Abubakar Mohammed thanked Almighty God for the successful journey, appreciating their lecturers, parents, and guardians for their patience and continuous encouragement.
