The Management of Radio Nigeria Gift FM, Jalingo, has expressed readiness to collaborate with Taraba State Television to further educate and inform the people of the state through quality programmes and balanced reportage.
General Manager of Gift FM, Mr. Emmanuel Jimmy, stated this when he led the management team of the station on a courtesy visit to Taraba State Television.
Mr. Jimmy commended Taraba State Television for its professionalism and consistency, describing it as the leading broadcast outfit in the state.
He said the proposed partnership would enhance the dissemination of accurate, balanced, and credible information, in line with the objectives of both organisations.
Responding, the General Manager of Taraba State Television, Mr. Jonah Pantivo, expressed delight over the visit and assured Gift FM of his station’s willingness to partner in promoting the activities and programmes of government of the state.
Mr. Pantivo explained that Taraba State Television has extended its broadcast reach through the Nicon platform, enabling audiences in neighbouring countries such as Cameroon and the Niger Republic to access its programmes.
He urged the management of Gift FM to always ensure fairness and balance in their reportage, adding that collaboration between the two stations would further inform, educate, and entertain the public.
