The Youth Alliance for Northern Development has organized a special dinner in Kano in honour of Mr. Seyi Tinubu to celebrate his 40th birthday, recognising his significant contributions to youth empowerment and national development.
Speaking at the event, the convener and Senior Legislative Aide to the Deputy President of the Senate, Seyi Olorunshaya, said the dinner was held to acknowledge the impact Mr. Tinubu has made in advancing youth causes across the country.
He described Seyi Tinubu as a “youth icon” whose humility, generosity, and commitment to national unity have inspired many young Nigerians.
According to Olorunshaya, “Seyi Tinubu deserves to be celebrated, not just for attaining the milestone age of 40, but for his unwavering dedication to empowering the youth and promoting development initiatives across the country.”
He further noted that the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has recorded significant achievements in economic revitalisation, youth empowerment, and food security.
He credited these accomplishments to the leadership style of the President, which he said is deeply rooted in inclusion and opportunities for Nigerian youth.
The convener also extended commendations to the Minister of State for Housing, Hon. Abdullahi Yusuf Atah, for his continued support to youth initiatives and his commitment to national development.
As part of the celebration, thousands of exercise books bearing the portrait of Seyi Tinubu were donated to primary school pupils as a symbolic gesture of his dedication to education and youth development.
The ceremony also featured the cutting of a birthday cake by the convener and supporters, who chanted birthday songs and offered prayers for Mr. Tinubu’s continued success.
Attendees described him as a generous and unifying personality who relates with all Nigerians irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliation.
Several supporters present at the event lauded Seyi Tinubu for his philanthropic activities and his role in shaping a brighter future for young people, noting that his actions continue to reflect the values of service, patriotism and leadership.
During the event cultural troops from Hausa,Igbo,Yoruba and other tribes displayed their talents.
