President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has inaugurated a Committee on Strategy, Conflict Resolution, and Mobilisation,
The committee chaired by Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, set to address internal disputes within the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to statement made available by the Director General of Press and Media Affairs to Governor Buni, Mamman Mohammed, committee composed of governors, ministers, and key stakeholders, aims to develop a comprehensive strategy to strengthen party unity and manage conflicts.
Governor Buni expressed gratitude for the appointment and pledged to execute the assignment with dedication and responsibility.
Members of the committee include Governors Uba Sani (Kaduna), Siminalayi Fubara (Rivers), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), and others, as well as Ministers Adegboyega Oyetola and Bello Matawalle.
The committee’s objectives include promoting inclusivity, resolving conflicts, and ensuring the party’s success in the 2027 elections.
President Tinubu emphasized the need for unity and tolerance within the party, citing the APC’s founding principles of progressive politics and respect for diversity.
