The Wife of Bauchi State Governor Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed has advised housewives to initiate local trades within their households to sustain themselves and enhance the socio-economic development of their communities.
She gave the advice while hosting some women living in the same area for Ramadan dinner at her residence in Bauchi.
Aisha Bala Mohammed who explained that over one hundred and fifty thousand people applied for the twenty thousand vacancies advertised in the ongoing job recruitment, said recent research conducted highlights that for the country to prosper, people ought to become employers of labour instead of job seekers.
The Wife of the Governor urged mothers not to relent in Instilling good moral values in the minds of their children to have an egalitarian society.
Speaking on behalf of the neighbours, Lami Umar Hassan appreciated the First Lady for inviting them to break the fast, saying that whoever feeds somebody in the month of Ramadan will earn additional ten rewards from Allah.
