Nigerian Army Assures More Commitment to Safety of Lives, Properties of Citizens

The Nigeria Army has assured more commitment to ensure safety of lives and property of the Citizens
The newly posted Sector Commander of Sector2 North East Joint Task Force, JTF, Operation Hadinkai Damaturu, Brig. Gen. Marcel Chidiebere Ejike gave the assurance during a courtesy call to the Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni in Damaturu the State Capital.
The Sector2 Commander JTF Operation Hadinkai, Brig.Gen. Marcel Chidiebere Ejike said he was in the government house to express the Nigeria Army appreciation for the support giving to the sector by the Yobe State Government.
He added that the command under his leadership will not relent on it efforts towards ensuring total eradication of criminal activities in the state.
In a response, the Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni, thanked the sector 2 commander for the visit.
He commended the sector command for the gallantery exhibited by ensuring that peace have return to Yobe been the second most affected insurgency state after Borno.
Buni also expressed appreciation to President Ahmed Bola Tinubu for keeping the tempo high in the fight against insurgency.
The Governor, therefore, call on traditional, opinion and community leaders to cooperate with the security agencies especially military who are on the top of the situation.
He further urged the general public to support the security agencies by giving meaningful information that will help them achieve their mandate.
