Gombe Govt to collaborate with Fed Govt to Address Environmental Challenges.

Gombe State Government is to partner Federal Government towards addressing gully erosion as well as other environmental challenges bedevilling the state.
The Executive Governor of the State Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya disclosed this when he granted audience to house of representatives committee on ecological fund at Government House.
Muhammadu Yahaya emphasized the importance of collective effort towards addressing environmental challenges adding that his administration is committed to mitigating the negative impact of erosion in the state.
He appreciated the committee for the visit and urged its members to expedite action in releasing the funds for the control of erosion to ensure safety of people in the society.
On his part the chairman of the committee Aminu Sani Jaji said the aim of the visit is to inspect ongoing gully erosion projects in the state.
Aminu Jaji reaffirmed the committee’s commitment to work hand in hand with the state government towards addressing environmental releted issues.
He commended the Governor for his determination in fighting erosion.
