The Electricity Consumers in Bauchi State have been Urged to Channel their Complaint to legitimate Authorities for prompt Action.

The Director Special Duties of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission Mr Ondaje Ojago made the Called during the three days Electricity Consumer Complaint Resolution platform held in Bauchi.

Mr. Ondaje Ojago explained that during the three days meeting with Electricity Stakeholders, all the complaints channel by Consumers would be addressed and Create a mutual understanding between the JED and the Consumers in the State.

He outlined some of the majors area to Address which includes billing metering, transformer, connection, disconnection as well as other consumers rights.

In a remark by the Consumer Educationist of the Commission Mrs. Bridget said the meeting will create understanding between the Electrity Service provider and the Consumers hence the need for all and sundry to be part of the dialogue.

On their Separate Remarks representative of the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) Mr. Ishaya Bassi and representative of Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JED) Mr. Andy Alopind said plans are underway to address the right of Consumers in Bauchi State.
