NGO Urges Nigerian Youth to Ensure Peace, Unity.

Nigerian Youth have been urged to Shun away from any act that has the potential of endangering peace and unity of the country.

The Chairman Board of Trustee, Lead Generation Initiative (LGI), a Non-Governmental Organization, Mr. Shina Abiola Peller made the call during a courtesy visit to Bauchi state Police Command Headquarters.

Mr. Shina Peller, also a Member House House of Representatives from Oyo State, who described youths as the building blocks of every society said unless they are engaged into useful ventures and educated, the realization of a vibrant nation would remain futile.

He noted that Nigeria was being faced with a lot of challenges occasioned by unemployment, lack of education, corruption, insecurity among others expressed optimism that the nation would one day attain the dreams of its founding fathers.

Mr Peller commended youth in Bauchi state for not participating in looting of public and private properties during the recent #EndSARS protest, describing the state as one of the most peaceful in the federation.

The LGI Chairman Board of Trustee also commended the state Police Command for being proactive to ensure peace across the twenty local government areas of the state.

Speaking on behalf of the state Commissioner of Police CP Lawal Tanko Jimeta the Command’s Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ahmad Muhammad Wakil expressed the command’s readiness to curb criminal activities in the state.

CP Lawal Jimeta called for continued support and cooperation from people to enable the command, address insecurity across the state.
