Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state has described the supreme court verdict that upheld the election of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a testimony re-affirming the faith and confidence Nigerians have in All Progressive Congress APC and the democratic system.

He stated this while reacting to the outcome of the Supreme Court verdict on the case filed by the People Democratic Party PDP and Labor Congress LP challenging the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the last presidential election.

Mallam Umar Namadi further explained that, for the opposition parties to challenge the election through the right process in the court it means they believe and keep faith in allowing the democratic process to resolve any grievances or disagreement, indeed this is worth commendation.

According to him, the verdict reaffirms the trust Nigerians have placed in APC the leadership of President Tinubu and the democratic system.

He said, It is also a testament to the strength and integrity of our country’s democratic institutions, the impartiality and commitment of the country’s judiciary to upholding the rule of law.

“As the litigation on the presidential election is put to rest, it is now our collective responsibility to work together in the spirit of national unity and progress. Let us focus on the critical issues facing our nation and continue to strive for the betterment of our people”

Governor Namadi however on behalf of the people of Jigawa State, extends his warmest congratulations to President Tinubu on the Court verdict upholding his election.

He expressed his optimism that, under the President’s leadership, Nigeria will continue to progress and prosper.
