INEC Partners Sunshine FM for Voters Education

In a bid to foster collaboration and ensure seamless voter education, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of Yobe State, Alhaji Ibrahim Abdullahi paid a courtesy visit to Radio Nigeria Sunshine FM Potiskum.

During the visit, the REC expressed his appreciation for the radio station’s commitment to public enlightenment and education.

He emphasised the importance of the media in disseminating accurate information and promoting voter awareness.

Alhaji Abdullahi also used the opportunity to officially announce 18th August 2025 as the date for the commencement of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise, urging all eligible citizens who have not registered to take advantage of the opportunity.

He encouraged the management of the Radio Station to leverage its wide reach to inform and educate the public on the registration process, voter rights, and the importance of active participation.

In response, the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Sunshine FM, Mr. Mohammed Abubakar Bose, pledged to provide the necessary support to ensure the success of the Continuous Voter Registration exercise.

He reiterated the station’s commitment to promoting public awareness and education.
