Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has assured the state government’s commitment to the welfare of civil servants.

The governor gave the assurance while speaking to newsmen during an inspection visit to the new State High Court Complex.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri stated that promotions at all levels, as well as their financial implications, have been implemented, while the employment process is ongoing in the state.

“I think there’s nothing more than this. It has never been this good. It is wonderful, and our civil servants are appreciating it.”

Fintiri highlighted that the judiciary, being one of the three arms of government, deserves a facelift, stressing that the effort is part of the infrastructural drive of the state government.

The governor, who expressed satisfaction with the quality and level of progress, commended the contractor for the quality of delivery.

“We are moving into the State Secretariat by the end of this year so that we can complete it early next year.”

Fintiri said the House of Assembly is undergoing renovation, while the Government House is wearing a new look with additional offices for the Governor and other staff.

According to him, other sectors like the civil service, health, and other agencies that were built since the Gongola era have been pulled down to make way for new offices for civil servants.

“We feel this is what will give them the comfort to continue to put in their best in terms of policy and program implementation.”

The governor also visited the State Customary Court of Appeal, where he inspected the premises and promised the government’s timely intervention where necessary.
