BASISTA wants Muslims to Intensify Supplications in the First Ten Days of Zhul Hijja.

Islamiyya schools teachers and their students in Bauchi State have been admonished to use the first ten days of Zhul hijja to perform all forms of ibadat as examplfied by prophet Muhammad pbuh and his companions.
Bauchi State Islamiyya Schools Teachers Association BASISTA, Alaramma Kabiru Shuaibu Ibrahim who gave the advice during telephone interview with our staff reporter said prophet Muhammad pbuh and his companions during their lifetime multiply all acts of ibadat.
“…. the prophet Muhammad pbuh and the companions engaged in fasting, supplication, suppligatory prayers, giving out alms and charity to the needy as well as sacrifice among others” Kabiru said.
Alaramma Kabiru Shuaibu said the call became necessary considering the high cost of living in the state and country at large that requires God’s intervention.
He insisted that the Islamiyya Schools Teachers ought to also direct all their students to embark on massive prayers for the leaders especially the state Governor Bala Muhammad to enable him succeed.
The state’s BASISTA chairman used the forum to commiserate with the state government, Dambam local council and Misau Emirate over the death of the Commissioner Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
” …. the death of Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Jalam who once said, ” ‘am also an Islamiyya Schools Teacher” is great lost not only to the state but to the Muslims as a whole…. Kabiru lamented.
Alaramma Kabiru Shuaibu expressed optimism that with prayers, repentance and supplications to Allah all hardships, high cost of living and other challenges being experienced in the state and the country as a whole will be surmounted.
He used the forum to call on traders and food vendors to reduce the cost of the essential commodities especially in the month of Zhul hijja to earn Allah’s blessings.
