Adamawa State Gov’t approves over 300 million naira for the upgrade of Adamawa plaza in Abuja

Adamawa State Executive Council presided by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has approved the ratification, design, and implementation of a government deliverance retraced management information system to improve ICT resources across the twenty-one local governments.

The project will cost the government the sum of one hundred and sixty-eight million, three hundred and twenty-five thousand, four hundred and forty kobo through the State Action for Business Enabling Reform.

The State Commissioner of Information and Strategy, James Iliya revealed this to Journalists after the state council meeting on Wednesday.

James Iliya said the project when implemented will accord the Adamawa State Government access to two million dollars via the World Bank intervention to enhance management information systems and the state’s business environment.

The council also approved the procurement and installation of two numbers, eight-passenger standard elevator machines and one number service standard elevator machine to be installed at the Adamawa Plaza, Abuja.

The project is at the cost of three hundred and thirty-two million, nine hundred and ninety-one thousand, six hundred and fifty-six naira, ninety-six kobo to Mssr Elevator and Escalator Nigeria Limited.

Also lending their voices, the Adamawa state commissioner of Finance, Augustina Wandamihya, and the commissioner of Housing, Abdullahi Prambe emphasized that the contracts are aimed at diversifying and improving the revenue generation of the state in line with global best practices.

They noted that the Fintiri-led administration is working tirelessly to improve the standard of living of the citizenry stressing that all approvals are geared towards enhancing better delivery.
