Adamawa State Gov expresses commitment to work with any Nigerian irrespective of ethnicity

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has reiterated his government’s resolve to embrace and work with all development and peace loving people of Nigeria regardless of their ethnicity or geographical origin in the interest of oneness.

The governor stated this when he granted audience to Heads of federal government establishments in the state who paid him a courtesy visit in his office at the government house yola.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri who said government’s doors are open for all well meaning citizens reiterated his stand to accord everybody living in the state irrespective of indigene status the right to enjoy all privileges.

Fintiri said by virtue of their cohabitation with the people, he pronounced them as citizens of the state and urged them to continue to live in peace with one another and be security conscious at all times as government continues to place the state on the path of prosperity.

The Governor said that owing to the magnanimity of the state government, most of them have acquired farmlands with signed certificates of occupancy, stating that plots of land will be allocated to them to build houses to further cement the relationship.

The delegation which was led by the Federal comptroller, housing Martin Gyado said as the committee of heads of federal government parastatals, they are poised to implement policies of government in the state, adding that the courtesy call became imperative to familiarize themselves with the Governor and also to align with his administration’s mantra.

According to him, Adamawa people are Indeed lucky to have Fintiri as their Governor considering his result driven governance, congratulating him for his second award by the federal government as the best Governor in infrastructural development .

Gyado who applauded the Governor and the host communities for their hospitality, peace and security however solicited government’s consideration while rolling out palliatives.

The spokesman hinted that the committee carries out some corporate social responsibility monthly across the state and intimated the governor of his nomination to be its patron.
