Internal Auditors of the FRCN restate commitment to Federal Gov’t Anti corruption crusade.

The North East Zonal Director of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN, Barrister Babayo Askira has called on internal Auditors of the organization to be proactive in enforcing internal control mechanisms to ensure accountability.
Barrister Babayo Askira made the call at the opening of the 95th FRCN Internal Auditors meeting from all Zonal stations and Directorates held in Bauchi.
Babayo Askira said historically, internal audit is a strong component in the operations of FRCN, hence the need to come up with recommendations that would enhance operations at all stations and directorates.
He commended the internal Auditors for doing the needful in their respective stations, and described the relationship between them and the management of the corporation as cordial.
The Zonal Director thanked them for choosing Bauchi to host the meeting, and wished them fruitful discussions.
Earlier, the Director Internal Audit of the FRCN, Yusuf Hussain DanAudi said, they are in Bauchi for the annual internal audit committee meeting to deliberate on operations at various stations.
Hussain DanAudi, explained that the essence of the meeting was to examine the performance of all stations and come up with recommendations for the betterment of Radio Nigeria.
According to him, internal Auditors will build on the federal government commitment on anti corruption crusade and better service delivery to Nigerians.
