Adamawa state Government set to collaborate with the Nigeria Polo Federation

Adamawa state government is to collaborate with Nigeria polo federation to explore potentials of the sporting activities.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri made the pronouncement when he granted audience to members and executives of the Nigeria Polo federation who paid him a courtesy visit at the government house yola.
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri while playing host to Nigeria Polo Federation said the state government will continue to collaborate with the federation in order to strengthen economic and political viability of the state.
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri who pledged to invest more in the security business assured the Federation of a peaceful atmosphere for the partnership to thrilled.
Governor Fintiri however lamented on the human-factor involvement in the little security challenges being faced in the state.
The Governor emphasized that collaborating the Nigeria Polo federation will indeed help in achieving the desired goal considering the pedigree of members of the Federation.
He thanked them for the visit and assured them that the state government will deepen the partnership for comparative advantage of the both parties.
Earlier, the National president of the Nigeria Polo federation, Nura Kangiwa said they were at the government house to appreciate the state Governor for his contribution towards the promotion of the polo tournament in the state.
Kangiwa further expressed appreciation to the Governor for appointing one of them in his cabinet as a commissioner.
According to the president, a tournament of game like polo required a strong support hence the need for the visit in order to appreciate him the more, adding that the Nigeria polo federation and the yola polo club always rely on him for their functionality.
The International polo tournament which kick started on the 18th of September will come to an end on Saturday, the 23rd of September 2023.
