Eid-ul maulud: Kano speaker urges muslims to abide by the teachings of Prophet Muhammad.

Muslims have been urged, to abide by the teachings of the noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW), for peaceful coexistence and development of Kano and Nigeria in general.

The Speaker, Kano State House of assembly, Alhaji Ismail Jibril Falgore made the call in a message to muslims, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Maulud.

This was contained in a statement signed by the director press, Kano state house of a assembly, Malam Uba Abdullahi and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.

The speaker explained that, Rabi’ul Auwal is a month of reflection on the birth of our noble Prophet Muhammad (SAW), and his extolled virtues.

Alhaji Isma’il, advised Nigerians to use the occasion to pray for peace and stability in the country, and the state government under the leadership of Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, for its commitment in transforming the State to greater heights.

He charged Kano residents to contribute their quota by supporting the government to move the state forward.

The speaker also used the oppurtunity, to congratulate the state governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, five emirate councils and citizens, on behalf of members and staff of Kano state house of assembly.
