Takutaha: KNSG declares Wednesday public holiday.

The Kano State Governor Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf has declared today Wednesday, 4th october 2023, as a Public Holiday in commemoration of Maulud, the birth of the prophet Muhammad, Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him.
This was contained in a statement signed by the state Commissioner for information Baba Halilu Dantiye,and made available to Radio Nigeria in Kano.
The Governor urged the people of the state to use the occasion to reflect on the teachings of our noble Prophet and imbibe them in their daily affairs.
Alhaji Abba also urged the people to pray fervently for peace and prosperity to reign in Kano at Nigeria at large.
He prayed to Allah to see us through this tough period and bless us with a bumper harvest in this rainy season and the coming dry farming season.
