Kaduna state government flags off distribution of hospital equipments.

Kaduna state government has commenced the distribution of hospital equipments procured for the 290 upgraded Primary Health Care Centres across the State.

Governor Uba Sani while flagging off the distribution in Kaduna said on his assumption of office, he has made a firm commitment to build and strengthen health care system with a view to provide affordable, and deliver a decent standard of care.

Senator Uba Sani stressed that, the goal was to provide the Hospitals with the tools they need to deliver precise diagnoses and administer effective treatments.

“We specifically promised to strengthen and expand the standard of services at the Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs). This ceremony is therefore in fulfillment of our promise to the good people of Kaduna State.

He emphasized that, if his government get it right at the Primary Level, the burden or pressure on the Secondary and Tertiary Levels would be drastically reduced while people would be healthier.

Malam Uba Sani commended Kaduna State Health Supplies Management Agency and Kaduna State Primary Health Care Board (KSPHCB) for working in synergy to ensure the distribution of the equipments to PHCs.

He expressd gratitude to all partners, both in the public and private sectors, who have collaborated with government to make the vision a reality.

The governor urged citizens, health managers and professionals to effectively monitor the utilization of the equipment. “We must ensure that they are well maintained and protected”

The State Commissioner of health, representative of the state Primary Health Cade Development Agency abd other stakeholders were present during the distribution.
