Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna has performed the groundbreaking for the construction of 62 junior and Secondary Schools across the state

The governor while laying foundation for the construction of a Senior Secondary School at Nasarawan Rigachikun, Igabi local government area said the ground breaking signals the commencement of the construction of 62 schools across the state.

He said the idea for the construction of the schools was to ensure every child go to school.

Senator Uba Sani explained that, Under the infrastructure renewal programme for the schools, classrooms, laboratories, administrative blocks, multi-purpose halls, and toilets would be constructed.

According to him, because of the high premium his administration places on education his government would continue to accord priority in that regard.

He assured closely monitoring of the construction of the schools and ensure that, quality jobs are delivered.

Senator Uba Sani restated that, in Kaduna, Primary and Secondary education is free.

Similarly, Governor Uba Sani had flag-off the construction of 25 kilometres Rigachikun – Tami – Birnin Yero rural road in Igabi Local government area of Kaduna State.

Senator Uba Sani stated the road when completed would facilitate movement of agricultural products from rural communities to Urban areas.

According to him, in the next few days, he will embark on the ground breaking for the construction of 31 other roads within rural communities of all the local governments.

The governor was accompanied by his Deputy, Dr Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, the Speaker of Kaduna State House of Assembly, Yusuf Dahiru Liman, Commissioner for Education, Professor Sani Bello and other government officials.
