Toro Rep.Member Empowered Women with 6m ,Launched food support program to 1000 households.

The Member Representing Toro Federal Constituency Hon. Ismail Haruna Dabo (Talban Toro) has on Saturday launched an empowerment program that empowered 120 women under Haske Kudin Jari.
The women under the platform of Haske Gida Gida were with 50,000 each as a start up capital totalling six Million naira (6,000000) amidst jubilations.The Program which had a cluster of women from Toro district will be extended to Lame and Jama’a Districts to have each and every part of the council in the arena of the beneficiaries.
The event which took place at magama-Gumau has in attendance the All Progressive Congress Chieftains in the local Government including Col. Umar Tilde Rtd.,Former Toro Local Government Chairman Hon. Musa Abdullahi Pakuru,Hon. Ya’u NaBaba Tulu who doubles as SLA to the Member,Youths and other party leaders.
Responding ,the beneficiaries thank the Member for this gesture and promised to utilize effectively the funds to maximize profits in order to be self sufficient.
The Member has also flagged off the distribution of food support program to 1000 households in Toro Local Government. As at the time of fielding this report,447 women benefited from this program while 553 will also be enroll.
In his remarks,Hon. Dabo promised to do more to mitigate the sufferings of the Constituents while assuring them of quality Representation.He used the occasion to sympathized with the people over the recent Security challenges and assured them of legislative commitment to bring this menace to an end.
He said, Efforts are been made to have a bill that will facilitates the establishment of Federal Medical Center Toro through Federal Ministry of health.This is to enable the entire Local Government gain easy access to health care facilities considering it size and population.
He was also at Tilden Fulani,Zaranda and Nabordo Communities on a condolence visit and wedding Fatihah of one of his Legislative Assistant.He prayed for the repose souls of the deceased and promised to support the families left behind.
Before departing to Abuja yesterday evening,he hosted the 17 Wards Chairmen of the rulling All Progressive Congress of Toro Local Government Area at his Magama Residence. It concludes.
