Governor Abba heads to Appeal Court, urge people to remain calm

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf says he has directed the legal team of his party to make all the necessary arrangement and proceed to Appeal court over the verdict given by the election petition tribunal In Kano.
The Governor stated this during a state broadcast held at government house Kano.
He said his lawyers have intimated them that the verdict was full of legal errors , hence they will not relate In seeking for redress at the Appeal Court.
Governor Abba urged the people of the state to remain calm and should not take law into their hands as security agencies were working tirelessly in ensuring peace and harmony.
He said the verdict would not stop from ensuring adequate implementation of their laudable program In Education, Health, Agriculture and other developmental projects.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Urged the people of the state to go about their normal businesses adding that victory is theirs.
