Yobe Delegation Condoles Borno Gov’t Over Commissioner’s Death.

The Yobe State Government has dispatched a high powered delegation to Maiduguri to express their condolences to the government and people of Borno state following the tragic passing away of Engr Ibrahim Idriss Garba, the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Resettlement.

The Yobe State delegation was received by Borno State Deputy Governor, Umar Usman Kadafur, who conveyed the deep sympathy of the Yobe State Government in response to the untimely demise of Engineer Ibrahim Idriss Garba.

The delegation, led by Barr. Saleh Samanja, the Yobe State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, offered their prayers for the eternal rest of the departed and sought divine strength for the government and citizens of Borno state as they grapple with this profound loss.

Kadafur, on behalf of Borno State Governor Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, expressed his gratitude to the Yobe State Government for their thoughtful gesture and invoked a prayer for their safe return and divine blessings.

The Yobe state delegation also included Commissioners of Water Resources and Wealth Creation, the Special Adviser on Security to the Yobe State Governor, and the Permanent Secretary of Administration..

The Commissioner, Engr Ibrahim Idris died on Saturday, who was found dead in his sleep at his guest house, located at 777 housing estate in Maiduguri.
