NIPR Assures Support for New FRCN Zonal Director, GM Globe FM

Nigerian Institute of Public Relations , NIPR has called on the Acting Zonal Director of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN, Northeast and the management of Radio Nigeria Globe FM Bauchi to encourage their staff to register with the institute order to enhance professionalism in their activities.

The Chairman, NIPR Bauchi State Chapter, Malam Rabi’u Muhammad Wada made the call when he led a delegation on a congratulatory visit to the new Zonal Director Malam Dahiru Garba Muhammad and the General Manager of Globe FM Bauchi, Malam Alkasim Bala, assured the institute’s support to ensure their success.

Malam Rabi’u Wada disclosed that the institute has approved a fifty percent discount in membership registration and conference fees for interested FRCN staff noting that this gesture was aimed at supporting their professional growth.

He expressed confidence in the capacity of the newly appointed officials to deliver on their respective mandates, noting that both had made significant contributions to the development of the broadcast industry.

Responding, the Northeast Zonal Director of FRCN, Malam Dahiru Garba Muhammad who also doubles as the chairman of the NIPR Workshop Planning Committee thanked the institute for the visit and pledged to facilitate the registration of more FRCN staff.

Also speaking, the General Manager of Radio Nigeria Globe FM Bauchi, Malam Alkasim Bala, said all FRCN stations across the Northeast had already begun to witness positive changes under the leadership of the new Zonal Director, assuring listeners of more quality contents in both traditional and digital spaces.
