About 15 Inmates Breath The Air Of Freedom In Yobe.

The North East Development Commission NEDC has secured freedom for 15 inmates with cases of minor debts and fines, who were serving different jail terms at Potiskum Medium Correctional Center in Yobe State.
Yobe State Focal Person, NEDC Hon. Nuhu Baba Hassan secured their release, when he paid a visit to the correctional facility.
Mal Nuhu, In Company of the State House of Assembly Member representing Potiskum Ahmed Adamu BBK and the Representative of Potiskum Emirate, said the move was aimed at decongesting the facility.
The facility was also supported with non- food items such as Mats, Blankets and Wrappers for their daily usage.
The beneficiaries of this freedom are also advise to desist from all forms of crimes that will lead to their return to the Correctional Facility.
The facility advised the released inmates intending to be educated, to seek for Sponsorship and Empowerment.
