FGC Malali Kaduna Organizes Special Inter-House Competition

The Federal Government College Malali Kaduna has called on the stakeholders on education to encourage inter- house activities as part of effort to prepare students to compete in the near future.

The Principal of the College, Mr. Benjamin Ochogwu stated this during the thirty second annual inter-house competition held at the school premises in Malali, Kaduna.

He explained that the inter-house competition is part of the curriculum of his school to encourage students to compete favourably with other students just because they want their house to win first position which is a good step for their future.

Mr. Benjamin Ochogwu encouraged parents and the teachers to always dedicate themselves to the learning and teaching respectively in order to achieve the set objectives.

In his remark, the Chief of Staff who represented the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Sani Abdul been an alumnus of the college advised the school to accord priority to sporting activities.

The inter-house witnessed match pass by the seven Houses, high jump, parents and teachers race, inter-house race competition among others.

Congo House with yellow wears won the first position, Niger House with purple wears took second while Senegal House with green wears go with the third position.

In an interview with one of the student of Limpopo House with brown wears that took forth position, Zainab Ibrahim Baidu said it’s a challenge for them to win the first position next year while those in first position want to maintain their position.
