Beneficiaries of the Renewed Hope Initiative I’m Bauchi State

In Bauchi State, the First Lady of Nigeria Senator Oluremi Bola Ahmed Tinubu has empowered a number of vulnerable and elderly persons under her Renewed Hope Initiative.

To this end, two hundred and fifty selected beneficiaries received one hundred thousand naira each to enable them establish small scale businesses towards improving their economic status.

Presenting the support in Bauchi, Senator Oluremi Tinubu said under the initiative nine hundred and fifty million naira was earmarked for disbursement across the thirty six states of the federation and FCT Abuja including wives of veteran Police Officers and Army.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu who was represented by the Northeast Zonal Coordinator and wife of the Bauchi State Governor Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed explained that those selected to benefit from the scheme aged between sixty to sixty five years.

According to her, the Governing Board of the Renewed Hope Initiative approved twenty five million naira for disbursement across the
country.

She called for continued support and prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led administration to succeed in delivering on it’s mandate.

On her part, the first lady of Bauchi State Hajiya Aisha Bala distributed bags of Rice and offered free medical outreach to complement the effort of wife of the President.

She therefore inaugurated Coordinators of the initiative in twenty local government areas of the state in an effort to deepen provision of the support deserving citizens especially at the rural areas.
