Bauchi State First Lady,Hajiya Aisha Bala Mohammed has donated clothing materials to vulnerable women across the state for Sallah celebrations.
These was aimed at putting smiles on the faces of the beneficiaries amid the present economic down turn.
Presenting the items to the stakeholders for onward distribution Hajiya Aisha Mohammed said twenty thousand wrappers will be distributed to vulnerable women in the twenty LGA’S while the remaining three thousand to some groups in Bauchi metropolis.
Wife of the State Governor who stressed the need for wealth to do individuals to extend hands of fellowship to the poor,urged parents to repent from bad deeds and seek for Allah’s forgiveness to guarantee their lives in the hereafter.
Earlier, Commissioner, Ministry for women affairs and child development, Mrs Lydia Haruna Tsamani appreciated the State Government for its efforts in improving the welfare of the people.
The First Lady through her Non Governmental Organization, Al-muhibbah foundation also extended a similar gesture to orphans and vulnerable children for them to celebrate Sallah like others.
