The Former State Chairman Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Borno State, Honourable Usman Mahdi Badairi has extended his sympathy to the Government and People of Borno State over the tragic incident of Suicide bomb attack at three different locations across Maiduguri City that claimed over twenty lives while leaving over hundred Persons injured.
Honourable Usman Mahdi Badairi described the incident as unfortunate one happening during a holy month of Ramadan where Muslim Ummah observing an intense act Worship, but encountered with this challenges.
He described the quick response to the security thread by the Military, Police and other Security Agencies involved in the Counter Insurgency and Terrorism Operations in Borno State which thwarted another planned terrorists attacks on Soft targets and on Security Personnels.
The former State Chairman PDP Borno State commended the efforts and commitment exhibited by Borno State Government throughout the tragic incident and attributed the feat to the leadership qualities of Governor Baba Gana Umara Zulum.
While condoling the families affected by the suicide bomb attacks, Honourable Usman Mahdi Badairi urged them to consider the incidence as preordained by Almighty Allah and prayed for quick recovery to the injured ones who were receiving medical attentions in the hospitals.
He appealed to the residents of Maiduguri City to take precautionary measures in their routing movements and report any suspicious Persons to Security Agencies.
