DG FRCN Condoles Nana Shettima, Kurama over mother’s death

North East Zonal Director, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria FRCN, Malam Babayo Askira, who represented the Director General of the Corporation Dr Mohammed Bulama at the condolence of former Legal Adviser and Secretary of FRCN Board, Alhaji Mustapha Kurama over his mother’s death in Maiduguri.

The Director General, Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Dr. Mohammed Bulama has condoled the family of former Legal Adviser and Secretary of the FRCN Board, Alhaji Mustapha Kurama, on the passing of his mother, Late Hajja Ya’akumurso Hafsat.

The DG described her as a community leader who had mentored many people who have contributed to the development of the nation.

Dr. Bulama, who was represented by the North East Zonal Director of the Corporation, Malam Babayo Askira, said the deceased will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and support for the less privileged

Prayers were then offered for the repose of her soul and the bereaved family to find the strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss.

Responding, Alhaji Mustapha Kurama,  expressed his gratitude to the Director General for sending a high-powered delegation to sympathize with his family. 

He prayed Allah to reward Dr. Bulama and wished him success in steering the affairs of the Corporation.

Late Hajja Ya’akumurso Hafsat passed away on Thursday evening after a prolonged illness in Maiduguri.

Similarly, the delegation also visited wife of the Vice President, Hajjiya Nana Shettima to offer condolences on the passing of her mother, Late Hajjiya Maryam Abubakar Albishir, who died recently following a prolonged illness in Kano. 

Hajiya Nana Shettima, who is currently receiving condolences in Maiduguri, appreciated the delegation for the visit and commended the staff and management of Radio Nigeria Peace FM for contributing their qouta towards the development of the state. 

The Zonal Director was accompanied on the condolence visit by the General Manager Radio Nigeria Peace Fm Maiduguri, Hajiya Fatima Yusuf, and management staff of the station.
