We will not relent in fulfilling our campaign promises – Gov. Yusuf

Kano State Government has reassured determination towards fulfilling campaign promises.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf stated this when a received the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Bayero who paid Sallah Homage at Government House Kano.

He said since his assumption in office his administration was working tirelessly in ensuring that the state is revived from it’s lost glory.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf explained that his administration had approved the payment of examination fees of over 55 thousand secondary school student who will sit for NECO Examination.

He said over one point six billion Naira has been paid to that effect, aimed at ensuring that the educational sector was fully enhanced.

The Governor noted that his administration had began the screening of graduates who will be sent oversees to further their Studies under the foreign scholarship program.

Governor Abba Kabir Yusif noted that they have rehabilitated over 75 Street light within Kano metropolitan geared towards restoring the lost glory of the state.

The governor maintained that health care system, agriculture, infrastructure and other developmental program will be accorded maximum attention for the well being of the people of the state.

Earlier, the Emir of Kano Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero Congratulated the new administration for peaceful conduct of the elections.

He assured the new administration the emirate support with the aim of ensuring that the stated objectives were being achieved.

Bayero urged government to provide necessary palliative to the masses to cushion the hardship encountered due to fuel subsidy removal.
