Senator Shehu Umar Buba Targets 2000 Pensioners for Free Distribution of Palliative.

Over 2000 pensioners and civil servants in Bauchi state are being targeted for free distribution of palliative to cushion the effects of hardships being experienced in the state.
The member representing Bauchi South in the Senate, Senator Shehu Umar Bubs who disclosed this in Bauchi at the commencement of the distribution said pensioners, civil servants especially cleaners and watchmen will benefit from the gesture.
Senator Shehu Umar Bubs represented by Abdulmalik Ahmad Barrisiyya explained that similar gestures were provided to people across the state to ameliorate the hardships being experienced in the country.
He said a committee will go round across Ministries, Departments and Agencies to distribute the palliative.
Responding the state Chairman Pensioners with problems, Alhaji Inuwa Isa who expressed delight over the gesture called on other politicians to emulate Senator Shehu Umar Buba to enable people have sense of belonging.
Alhaji Inuwa Isa said there are over six hundred Pensioners retired from the state and seven hundred and twenty others from local government areas who are having problems with either their pensions or gratuities.
He said for over years they have been pursuing their entitlements through contact and visits to key stakeholders but to no avail.
