Kano Hisbah Eeaffirms Commitment to Shari’a Legal System

Kano state hisbah board has reiterated it’s readiness, to partner with relevant stakeholders, for the implementation of shari’a legal system.

The commander general Kano state hisbah board, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa, made the disclosure while recieving the commander general of Katsina state hisbah board, in his office.

He explained that, Kano hisbah board was committed to guiding and assisting those willing, to implement sharia legal system, in their domains.

Sheikh Aminu Daurawa, however stressed that, hisbah is a government agency, saddled with the responsibilities of prohibiting bad, and promoting good behaviours, extracted from the holy Qur’an and prophetic teachings.

He noted that, earlier Kano state hisbah board, started as an independent committee, agitating for the implementation of Islamic sharia law in Kano state, and beyond.

While urging them to desist from partisan politics, Sheikh Daurawa urged members of katsina state hisbah, to rededicate themselves to promoting peace and unity, as well as mitigating societal vices.

Earlier in his remarks, the katsina state hisbah commander, Malam Bilyaminu Muhammad Balarabe said, they were at the board to familiarize themselves, and appreciate kano state governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf, for reappointing, Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim for the third time.

He described the appointment, as a clear indication about Daurawa’s dedication in promoting peace progress, and fight against all forms of vices, among the teaming muslims in Kano state, and the entire country.

The entourage from Katsina state,were taken round the board’s headquarters, to see for themselves the activities, and level of progress so far achieved.
